K-2 Intramural Program

The Kindergarten through 2nd grade program is intended to be an introduction to the game of lacrosse. Registration is open to all youth in Avon Lake based on their grade in the Fall prior to the season.

The team will practice once a week during the spring, beginning in mid-April. The program will run for 6 weeks. The focus is to learn fundamentals of the sport like:

• Throwing & Catching
• Ground Balls
• Basic Stick Skills

Registration in the program includes a stick and t-shirt. No other equipment is required. A USA Lacrosse membership is required for participation and must be valid through the end of the season.
